Ms Pragya Karki is a public health professional with four years of experience in operational research, programme management and social development sector in Nepalese context. She has contributed in various Nepal Government (MoH) collaborated research and surveys of various nature related to Health System Management, Health Services, Health Workforce Empowerment, Monitoring and Process Evaluation, at local, district and regional level. She is skilled and have gained considerable knowledge and experience in operational research (both qualitative and quantitative or mixed, methods), and Strategic planning.
Her areas of expertise include managing and implementing surveys, conducting monitoring and evaluation based studies and programme based operational research. Her other experiences encompass supporting studies in Maternal and Neonatal Health, Reproductive Health, Child Health, STIs, Nutrition, Communicable Disease Management, Local Governance, Gender and Violence Against Women, Migration, Humanitarian Response and Social Development, Health Education and Health Promotion, Biostatistics and Epidemiology. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public health, National Academy for Medical Sciences, Kathmandu, Nepal.
