Introduction

With around 45,000 new TB cases reported every year, this facility contributed to National Tuberculosis Programme’s aim of achieving case detection rate of 82% nationally.

Programme Objective

• To identify over 2 years an additional 3136 cases
• Ensure rapid diagnosis and treatment of all TB and MDR cases
• To continually monitor and reflect on case finding and referral strategies
